The Sub-Collectives

Backcourt Collective is built on two foundational pillars: The Coop<\/strong>, a home for the creatives shaping the culture of women\u2019s basketball, and The Loop<\/strong>, a home for the organizers building community city by city.  Together, they form the collective power behind Backcourt Collective: each offering the space, support, and structure fans need to grow the game with its people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where fans build together<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Backcourt created two sub-collectives because fans contribute to women\u2019s basketball culture in different, but equally essential, ways. Some shape the game through creative labor<\/strong>, telling the stories that define the W. Others strengthen the sport through community organizing<\/strong>, gathering fans, hosting spaces, and building belonging in their cities.

The Coop and The Loop exist to support both forms of fan power, giving each community the tools, visibility, and collective momentum to grow.
