University\u2019s signature storytelling podcast, we produced a three-part narrative mini-series exploring the \u201cpotential and peril of AI for Howard University and our communities.\u201d This series takes listeners on a guided journey through the rise of generative AI: what it is, why it matters, and how it affects Black communities and institutions like Howard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Across the mini-series, we dig into core questions and highlight the voices closest to the work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ep 1:<\/strong> <em>What is GenAI and Why Is It Biased?<\/em> : A grounded introduction to generative AI and the systemic biases built into today\u2019s technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ep 2:<\/strong> <em>Howard Changemakers Leading the Way<\/em>: A spotlight on the innovators, researchers, and leaders at Howard shaping a more equitable tech future.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ep 3:<\/strong> <em>Preparing Howard Alum for Big Tech &amp; Entrepreneurship<\/em>: A look at how Howard prepares its graduates to lead, build, and break barriers in emerging industries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Through interviews, narration, and storytelling, the series amplifies critical conversations that sit at the intersection of AI, equity, education, and community impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>My role<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I collaborated closely with university.fm and the Howard University team to develop and deliver this narrative arc across all three episodes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contributed to scriptwriting and narrative shaping for the full series<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Produced each episode, guiding structure, pacing, and story flow<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engineered and cleaned all audio across interviews, narration, and archival elements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edited conversations to highlight clarity, emotional resonance, and narrative cohesion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mixed and mastered final episodes to create an immersive, polished listening experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managed multi-episode workflows to ensure the series released smoothly and on schedule<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Services<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Narrative podcast production: story development, scriptwriting support, producing, engineering, editing, mixing, audio cleanup, segment structuring, and multi-episode delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Results<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Delivered a cohesive three-part narrative series that expanded the scope and impact of <em>From HU2U<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Helped translate complex conversations about AI, equity, and community into clear, accessible storytelling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elevated the voices of Howard scholars, students, and leaders at the forefront of technology and social justice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supported <em>From HU2U<\/em> during a season that contributed to its recognition as a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eddie-ozzie.com\/go\/2024-eddie-and-ozzie-awards\/#new-this-year\">2024 Eddie &amp; Ozzie Award Finalist for Best New Podcast<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provided listeners
